Start with one rod on an old stone pier on a Scottish island and work your way out to deeper water. Train skills, buy better gear, hire a few hands to fish beside you and send folk on errands around the island. Fill notices for the villagers, spend Tales on Lore, and chase the rare fish and odd finds in the catch log. It fishes on while you're away, so come back to a full box.

About an hour to the ending, and you can keep fishing after.
