Limbus Fight
This is a prototype I made showing what "Limbus Company" would look like if it were a 2D fighting game (from my perspective).

Description

Controls: Arrow keys to move, Z to attack, X for shield, and C to cast a skill. Pressing left or right twice quickly makes you dash, and moving while guarding performs an evasion.

Don Quixote has a charging attack if press arrow + z same time.

(This description will mainly be used to talk a bit about the game's development)

Hello!

Well, this is a fangame I made about Limbus Company; specifically, it's a pretty small and simple prototype of how I imagine the game if it were a 2D fighting game.

The idea came to me after seeing Roblox games using the Sinners, and I decided to try the same thing adapting it to 2D. Honestly, it's a very amateur piece of work.

It's a really simple work compared to other games on the page (that's why it's a prototype). The hardest part was adapting the character sprites since they usually have different sizes from one another, so you will probably notice "weird" sizes or positions. I could have pushed myself harder to improve that section, but in the end it doesn't affect the gameplay either (and to be honest, I was feeling too lazy lmao).

The overall development of this prototype was a lot of fun. I mainly thought about a beat 'em up, but I pivoted to fighting mechanics because I felt more comfortable with that game style using these sprites.

To be honest, I didn't know how to adapt the CPU for a fighting game; I feel it's not as "aggressive" as it should be.

There are only 2 characters because I didn't want to work that much, truth be told.

I don't know when I'll be able to continue this project. I feel pretty comfortable with the result and I'm happy with what I made. I hope you can enjoy this prototype that lasts, uh… 1 minute? I've finished matches in about 30 seconds xD.

All rights, sprites, and music are property of Project Moon. I made this out of love for the game.
