Description
What is THE PRELUDE?
An enemy hell bent on destroying you hunts you down as you attempt to get to the end goal and proceed onto the next stage. Will you be able to put your quick thinking and reaction time to the test to OUTSMART THE AI and defeat all 30 puzzling levels?
With quick respawn mechanics, portals and funky doors - The Prelude will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end with its rage inducing but satisfying gameplay.
An Extra Challenge
Once you've beaten the game once, you will then be able to access the EXTRAS MENU, where you will be faced with the ultimate challenge mode. Will you be able to beat the entire game with this challenge mode enabled or will it stop you in your tracks to prove your ultimate worth as a gamer?

Controls
The controls are as simple as ARROW KEYS/WASD and the SPACE BAR/ENTER KEY. Not accounting for things that aren't primary gameplay features.

The Prelude is a fast paced puzzle game that will test your skills in both reaction time and quick thinking. Its a short and free game that I developed using Game Maker Studio 2 back in 2019 and have finally gotten around to polishing it up for a release in 2022!
