Made for BYOG 2026, on the theme 'Everything is Temporary'.

Gen Blocky and the Number Devil is a fast-paced 2D shooter where you fight through increasingly difficult waves of enemies with the help of a mysterious companion—the Number Devil.

The Number Devil appears throughout the game and challenges you with a question. Answer correctly, and you receive a temporary buff that can give you an advantage in battle. Answer incorrectly, and you are given a temporary debuff that makes your fight more difficult. Every decision can change the situation, but nothing lasts forever.

The game culminates in a final battle against the boss, which appears after Wave 9 begins. Defeat the boss to complete the game.

Controls:

** A/D:** Move left/right

**W: **Jump/Double Jump

W + Space: Booster(Jetpack)

LMB: Fire primary weapon

RMB: Throw grenade

ESC: Pause
