BlackBox is a fast paced space naval roguelite about commanding a warship through dangerous battles in the far reaches of space. Fight enemy fleets, survive elite encounters, collect salvage, upgrade your ship, and push deeper into sectors that become more dangerous with every victory.

Upgrade your hull, shields, shield regeneration, weapon damage, main batteries, point defense, torpedoes, railguns, mines, engine speed, and salvage efficiency.

Build a durable fortress, a fast attack ship, a long range weapons platform, or a dangerous combination of all three.

Begin with the Adjudicator command cruiser and unlock new ships by proving yourself in battle.

The Bastion heavy cruiser unlocks after 800 total kills. It has heavy hull strength and powerful shields, but slower movement that requires careful positioning.

Other ships reward speed, increased damage, railgun attacks, and specialized combat builds.

• Mouse aims your ship

• W thrusts toward the cursor

• S reverses your ship

• A and D use the side thrusters

• Hold left mouse for rapid fire

• Space activates your EMP burst

• Shift activates the afterburner

• Q or Control performs a dodge roll

• P or Escape pauses the game

• Q in the pause menu ends the run

• Arrow keys or A and D move between choices

• W and S move through vertical menus

• Enter or Space confirms a selection

• Number keys choose displayed upgrades or routes
