A terrible curse lies upon this forest. Trapped in an endless night the souls of the damned are reawoken in the bodies of horrible monsters, doomed to wander in darkness forever and turn unsuspecting travelers into one of them. This curse can however be broken, but only by a true hero.

Fight the monsters and collect the xp they drop. Once you have enough, a blue star will appear from the sky. Use its fire to activate the mysterious monoliths, found in the corners of the map, and fight a boss to break the curse!

There are 4 main difficulties to choose from. Complete them all to unlock Infinite Mode!

As always, I'm not a professional coder and I do this just for fun so don't expect anything mind-blowingly incredible. This game is made on Gamemaker Studio 2, all sounds are from freesound.org and the pixel artwork I made myself.
