Description
Made 18.4.22 Hey! So, ever since September 2021 I've have been interested in indie devs, and being an indie dev . i Watched Devlogs , channels and I felt inspired to make a game. So I started out in Construct 3 free edition. I'm a little embarrassed to admit this but, I spent 5 months and never finished a full game. Id start a project, Get the player moving, then for varying reasons there'd be a problem, or id think there's a problem and id restart. THIS WENT ON FOR 5 MONTHS. I was very insecure about the games quality, specifically the controls and one point or another id restart. So, in march I started using Gamemaker and, like in C3 I would also restart projects, but for one reason or another i stopped doing this. I did it 4 times and then i made 1 game (this game), but i spent a lot of time redoing the sprite art. Essentially i had this idea the game would be themed off a garden animal or insect. So i did this for 2 weeks, but eventually I stopped and decided the player would be a spaceman and the game would take place in space, which is why the games called Lunarsade(lunar crusade).I was still worried for the controls but thanks to some gamedev advice i Decided that as this was my 1st game, it probably would be bad anyway. So, i left the controls alone and started doing the level design, and 1 and half a week later, Here we are.I know the games unpolished, like the sprite scaling alters out by pressing left and right, But I stopped worrying about this stuff by now. Ok , i did'nt, and ive spent the last 2 hours flipping between just letting the game be like this or thinking i was being lazy. But i eventually decided to release it. So, i hope you can enjoy this game, and give me some advice or constructive criticism. So until next game, thank you so much for- to playing my game.
