Fairy chess, but you choose your pieces and set up the board!

Either that or you could try out how pieces work or even play some default matches against a mediocre AI to feel like a chess pro for a brief moment.

What is fairy chess? The rules are similar to normal chess, but there are extra pieces, and more modifications to enhance the experience and put your last brain cell to the test!

Unlock new pieces by either collecting resources and summoning them, or winning, getting XP, and unlocking new tiers of the ChessPass. Currently, there are around 15+ pieces; to check out the movement rules and abilities of new pieces, just right-click on them!

Available game modes:

➡ Classical: the standard chess experience

➡ Casual: set up your pieces against a custom enemy, fairy chess where you assemble your very own army

➡ Custom: explore the potential of fairy pieces, make unique scenarios and puzzles, and let your creativity run wild

➡ Combat modes: every mode has a combat mode, in which you can play against another player instead of an AI

➡ Campaign: complete a series of challenging levels in the world of Chessardia

Notes:

♟Instead of giving checkmate, in this game you win by actually taking down the king.

♟You can castle while being in check (for now)…

♟The AI is quite inept for now, so have fun humiliating it!

♟PvP is only available locally at the moment! You can use screen sharing if you wish to play against someone.

♟If you spot bugs, have ideas I could use, or have an opinion on my game, I'd be glad to read it!

♟Also, this is my first ever (somewhat) complete game, so manage your expectations while keeping that in mind!
