Description
Phytogrimoire is the first game from IIIOR made on the GameMaker (Usually the author works with Unreal Engine). It's hard to get used to a new engine, but the experience was worth it!
I hope you understand the situation that there may be bugs in the game.
What about the plot?
You play as a Artem, who possesses a plant grimoire (Phytogrimoire) that can create different plants. Your lawn is invaded by demons who want to eat you, so you have to defend yourself from the demons with the help of the grimoire and plant spells. Don't forget that the more you drink Overcharged energy drinks, the more mana you can use to cast spells. These drinks can be dropped from demons when they die.
Here's a summary of the plants:
-
Rotato is a very cheap and very powerful potato that rolls all over the lawn and does a lot of damage.
-
Walltermelon is a defense plant that will help keep demons at bay.
-
Pea Bombs can explode up to 3 times and do medium-high damage. It leaves behind a pod that acts as a defense. There is a chance of double detonation or may not detonate at all.
-
Sunflower - shoots seeds at long range and does medium damage.
-
Thundercarrot generates electric cells between two same plants and deals constant damage.
-
Blover releases 4 wind charges in the shape of a cross (diagonally).
-
Slashberry is a plant with a close range attack and infects cells in a 3x3 area. It is a durable and powerful plant.
Here's a summary of the demons:
-
Common demon is unremarkable.
-
Shieldy is a more durable counterpart to the common demon.
-
Bomber has very little health and explodes on death, dealing massive damage in a 3x3 area.
-
Shooter is analogous to the common demon, but it releases piercing projectiles on a constant basis.
-
Kuvalda is an incredibly durable and strong demon. She is capable of destroying a plant with two hits.
