Description
This was my second attempt at making a proper game on Gamemaker. It is truly more of a demo of a game and, while I do have some ideas for how I could expand it, I don't know how much extra time I want to commit on this project.
This game is tangentially similar to Geometry Dash. For each level, you are in constant movement and have limited input to avoid obstacles. You start the game in a sort of hub world and you can walk to a level entrance (represented by a music disc) to start a level. Due to how small the project is, there isn't any barrier preventing you from playing certain levels after playing others first, though their order from bottom to top represents the increasing difficulty of the levels and vague order of the story behind the levels.
For the time being, all of the songs I used in this game were made in beepbox.co, which is easy to use. Most of the songs used predate the game's development, some by at least a year. They are probably the biggest reason to play this game.

12/08/2025 - added proper title menu (incl. toggling vfx) and level titles
14/08/2025 - improved 1 of the extra levels
15/08/2025 - added 1 extra level, another on its way
16/08/2025 - the other level arrived
27/08/2025 - added 3 levels
11/09/2025 - compressed the music, meaning there's a 1 millisecond delay (it mostly still syncs up fine)
09/10/2025 - small graphical update (changed sprites for some levels), improved that extra level I improved on 14/08/2025 to make it slightly less annoying, improved final final final extra level to be slightly more challenging
12/09/2025 - another small graphical update (some changed shading and extra details in levels), made some of the spikes and other level pieces more properly aligned (but I'm not checking every single one - that would take too long)
23/12/2025 - tried to add mobile controls (part of a bigger update) - they're currently very bad so I will probably rework them a bit, small graphics changes
24/12/2025 - made more functional mobile controls
26/12/2025 - made the mobile controls slightly more functional (they're always gonna be annoying though, planning to modify some levels to give alt routes), changed SOME of the level graphics
31/12/2025 - minor level changes here and there. modified some levels so that they easier to play on mobile, lag less and function better in general
28/02/2026 - minor graphic update
