Description
This is Dang! Beetle, a game made for the New Year, New Jam competition!
The game really is that simple. You watch a beetle roll a ball until they don't want to anymore. Once they retire, you can go visit them in the retirement home! Then you're free to get a new beetle and give them a name too!

Want to help your beetle buddy roll their ball? Turn the hand crank on the screen to boost their speed!
I really did plan to do more for this, but unfortunately I got sick with covid near the end of the jam, so I couldn't include things like a shop, collection book, more beetle types, or animations. If this places maybe I'll give it that much needed update, but regardless this was a fun thing to do to get back into some Gamemaker and Game Development in general.
