Every level has a secret item. A box will fall down from the top of the screen when you're in the "free blasting" stage at the end of a level.

Can you find it?  If you don't discover it when you complete a level, the game will give you a clue...

it may involve shooting something, not shooting something, collecting something or maybe something completely random!

## **Introducing Quantadrome!**

A twin-stick, retro arcade-style shooter on a small scale!
One type of power-up and that’s bullets... lots of bullets!
Blast your way through 42 bizarre levels, each with unique baddies to shoot!
Alternatively, play in random mode - things get progressively harder, the level layout and baddies are randomly generated.
Levels are timed, so try speed running!

#### **Controls**

Recommended: connect an XBox-style controller, move with left stick, shoot with right stick. You can also use keyboard (WASD or cursor keys) and mouse to fire.

Press M for music on/off.

Press V for visibility mode (or button B on controller) - makes your ship more noticeable.

Press G to select game mode - Normal or Random.

In-game press Esc or controller start button to pause the game.

#### **Normal Mode:**

Shoot baddies to progress and collect their diamonds.
Progress bar is at the top of the screen behind status text, fill the bar to complete the level.
Destroy eggs to collect power up coins. Power up = more bullets!
Collect blue bonus coins to increase bonus multiplier.
42 Levels, each one has a secret item to find. 
Every 10th level is a bonus level where you can’t die.

#### **Random Mode:**

Levels are randomly generated, one random baddie to begin with, in each subsequent phase, the baddies get more numerous and varied. Blast them to progress.

#### **Hints:**

- You may need to think before you blast!
- Try and catch the diamonds in mid-air for more points.
- Rebound your shots off reflective surfaces to gain more points.
- When you’ve destroyed enough baddies to complete the level, you get a few seconds of ‘free blasting time’ where you are invincible! Make the most of it.
- Extra life every 100,000 points. 
- Every level has a secret item! Can you work out how to get it?
- Level complete screen shows your stats…level score, baddies blasted, eggs destroyed, diamonds collected, level time, highest bonus and if you’ve discovered the secret item.
- See if you can beat the high score - go for a super-high bonus.
- On every 10th level, you are invincible, so go for mega-high bonus multipliers and big scores to obtain more ships… you’ll need them!
- Level time is recorded, go for a speed-run try and beat the record for the levels.
